The Vesta V4 4kW wood burning stove combines a compact heat output with a generously sized firebox and large viewing window. Made in Great Britain by Vesta Stoves, the V4 has become one of the most recognisable models in our original Vesta range.
With a nominal heat output of 4kW, the V4 is particularly suited to smaller living spaces, conservatories, garden rooms and other areas where a larger stove could produce more heat than required. Its curved steel body, stainless steel controls and large glass door give it a distinctive contemporary appearance without sacrificing practicality.

Why Choose the Vesta V4?
A smaller heat output does not have to mean a small firebox or restricted view of the flames. The V4 was designed to provide controlled heat while retaining the proportions, fire view and build quality normally associated with a larger wood burner.

Many low-output wood burning stoves achieve their reduced heat output simply by making the entire appliance smaller. The Vesta V4 takes a different approach.
Its spacious firebox and large glass window allow you to enjoy the appearance and practicality of a substantial log burner while maintaining a more manageable 4kW nominal heat output.

Designed for Efficient Wood Burning
The Vesta V4 uses several combustion-air systems to help achieve effective burning and good control of the fire.
- Preheated primary combustion air is introduced into the combustion zone.
- Tertiary combustion air helps burn remaining combustible gases within the firebox.
- Vesta Airblade technology directs preheated air across the glass to help reduce soot deposits.
- Separate air controls allow the burn rate and air supply to be adjusted during operation.

Installing the Vesta V4
A wood burning stove must be installed with the correct hearth, flue or chimney, clearances and combustion-air provision for the particular property.
Because installation requirements vary between buildings, the fact that the V4 has a nominal output below 5kW should not be treated as a blanket guarantee that additional ventilation will never be required. Your installer should assess the property and follow the appliance instructions and applicable Building Regulations.

What Wood Should I Burn?
For good performance, use suitably dry firewood. Wet logs waste energy evaporating moisture, reduce firebox temperature and can contribute to deposits within the stove and chimney.
Properly seasoned or kiln-dried firewood with an appropriate moisture content is preferable to freshly cut timber. A simple moisture meter can be useful for checking logs before burning.
Never burn painted, treated, laminated or manufactured waste timber in the stove.

I thought I should post a review. I purchased a V4 at the end of 2011 and was impressed with the specification and the lovely modern design. It was delivered as promised and my installer was impressed with the quality. Now, some 3 winters later I am using it most days for 6-8 months each year and it still looks as good as new and gives out a tremendous heat in my open plan house. My heating bills are about 25-30% less and when have the chimney swept and checked the installer comments on the heavy quality and that many ‘cheap’ stoves can buckle if used a lot so it pays to buy a good one.I have seen one of these on a programme with George Clarke on TV. I am pleased that they are made here in Britain and hope that your business goes from strength to strength.
