The Bushmaster combines controllable space heating with a practical cooking surface. Its compact body, large glazed door and multi-fuel firebox make it well suited to camping, glamping and small off-grid accommodation.
Unlike a lightweight folding tent stove, the Bushmaster is a robust stove with a fully lined firebox, airwash system, riddling grate and removable ashpan.

Use the Bushmaster as a freestanding outdoor heater and cooker on a suitable non-combustible surface, with the correct flue fitted and safe clearance from combustible materials.
It provides the atmosphere of a real enclosed fire while directing smoke through a proper chimney system.
Bell tents and yurts
The Bushmaster can be installed in a suitably prepared bell tent or yurt using a compatible stove fitting kit, heat-resistant stove jack or flashing, suitable hearth and correctly supported flue.
It must not be used loose inside a tent without a properly designed flue and installation system.
Shepherd huts
Its compact dimensions and modest nominal output make the Bushmaster a practical option for many shepherd huts and other small off-grid spaces.
A permanent installation must include the appropriate hearth, ventilation, clearances, chimney system and carbon monoxide protection.
Glamping accommodation
The Bushmaster is also suited to correctly designed glamping structures, bothies and similar small spaces where heating, flame visibility and a cooking surface are required.

Cooking on the Bushmaster
Practical hotplate
The top of the stove becomes a useful cooking surface as the firebox heats up. It can be used for a kettle, frying pan, saucepan or stove-top casserole.
Controllable heat
The adjustable air controls allow the fire to be increased or reduced, giving more control over the temperature of the cooking surface.
Multi-fuel capability
The riddling grate and ashpan allow the stove to use suitable wood or approved solid mineral fuels in accordance with the operating instructions.

Important installation information
A bell tent, yurt or shepherd hut installation requires more than the stove itself. The correct components will depend on the type of structure, the proposed flue route and the position of the stove.
- Use a suitable non-combustible hearth beneath and around the stove.
- Maintain the required distance from canvas, timber, furnishings and other combustible materials.
- Use the correct 100mm connecting flue and compatible installation components.
- Support the chimney securely and protect every point where it passes through a wall, roof or tent fabric.
- Provide adequate permanent ventilation.
- Install and regularly test a suitable carbon monoxide alarm.
- Have permanent shepherd-hut installations assessed and completed by a competent installer.
- Never operate the stove without the complete flue system correctly fitted.
