Why an insulated flue is important in a pergola
A chimney passing through or close to a roof structure requires more consideration than an open-air stove installation. The kit transitions from the connecting pipe to an insulated twin-wall section around the roof-exit area.
The insulated section reduces the external surface temperature compared with an equivalent uninsulated stove pipe, but it does not remove the need for the correct clearances and installation method.
