Vesta V2 2kW Small Wood Burning Stove
The Vesta V2 is a compact 2kW wood burning stove designed for smaller spaces where a conventional log burner can simply produce too much heat. Handmade by Vesta Stoves in Lancashire, the V2 combines a small footprint with a surprisingly generous firebox, large viewing window and the ability to accept logs up to approximately 300mm long.
It is particularly well suited to small rooms, garden rooms, summerhouses, log cabins, conservatories, narrowboats and other compact spaces where you want the warmth and character of a real wood fire without installing an unnecessarily large stove.
A Small Log Burner Without a Tiny Firebox
One of the biggest compromises with many very small wood burning stoves is the firebox. Reduce the stove too far and ordinary firewood often has to be cut into unusually short lengths before it can be loaded.
The Vesta V2 was designed differently. Its full-width door and generous combustion chamber allow the stove to accommodate logs up to approximately 300mm long, giving you the practicality of a larger wood burner in a much more compact appliance.

Where Is a 2kW Wood Burning Stove Most Useful?
The V2 is designed for applications where a low-output stove makes more sense than a conventional 5kW or larger appliance. The current Vesta guidance suggests the V2 for spaces of approximately up to 30 cubic metres, although the actual heat requirement of any room depends on insulation, glazing, construction and ventilation.

Designed for Efficient, Controllable Wood Burning
The V2 is more than simply a small steel box. Its combustion system has been designed to give the user control over the fire while maintaining a clear view through the large front window.
Vesta Airblade Technology
Preheated combustion air is directed across the inside of the glass to help reduce deposits and maintain a clearer view of the flames during correct operation.
Tertiary Combustion Air
Additional combustion air is introduced into the firebox to help burn combustible gases more completely and make better use of the fuel.
Controllable Burn Rate
The air controls allow the fire to be adjusted once the stove and flue are operating correctly, helping you manage the heat produced in a smaller room.
A Small Wood Burner That Does Not Have to Look Industrial
Compact heating does not mean you have to compromise on appearance. The V2 combines softly curved shoulders, a large glass door and stainless steel detailing to create a contemporary stove that works in both modern and more traditional interiors.
Unlike many wood burners that are available only in black, Vesta stoves can be ordered in a selection of finishes including charcoal, black, pewter and several alternative colours.

Installing the Vesta V2
A wood burning stove installation is not simply a matter of connecting a length of pipe to the appliance. The hearth, chimney or flue system, ventilation, clearances and termination position all need to be suitable for the building and the stove.
The V2 has a 125mm / 5 inch flue outlet and can be configured with either a top or rear connection, which gives useful flexibility when planning the installation.
For garden rooms, log cabins and summerhouses, we also offer a complete V2 installation package containing the stove and the principal flue components required for that type of installation.

Smoke Control Areas
The current V2 product specification does not list a DEFRA exemption. If the stove will be used in a Smoke Control Area, check the current legal requirements and permitted appliance/fuel combinations before purchasing or installing it.
Need a Multi-Fuel Version?
The standard V2 is primarily designed as a wood burning stove. A dedicated drop-in conversion is available where a suitable multi-fuel configuration is required.
The conversion introduces airflow beneath the fuel bed and includes the components required for the converted configuration.

Great little fire , Easy to communicate
We love the stove, it is well made and is a very lovely looking, sturdy wee thing. Delivery took longer than expected, communication around delivery could be better.
the stove is well made, and looks very smart in place. it arrived well-packaged.it truly is a super item. it would have warranted a 5 but for the communication issues we had – unfortunately there is noone to talk to at vesta stoves, no telephone line to call on, and only communication is through email. also there seemed uncertainty as to when the stove was actually sent over the course of a couple of weeks. however, due the confusion caused, the company sent a chimney flue free, which went some way to cool the frustration!
