A range of colour matched stainless steel flue. We can supply colour powder coated twin wall insulated flue systems to match any make of wood burning stove. All flue components can be specified to your dimensions.
What is a Twin wall insulated Stainless Steel flue system?
This system is designed for homes without a chimney or where the chimney stack has been partially removed. They are generally made from sheet stainless steel encasing an insulation layer that keeps the flue gasses hot as the rise through the pipe sections.
Twin wall pipes for log burners can be purchased in a variety of diameters (normally 6″) and clip together with a purpose made locking band. Plain pipes being shiny stainless steel do not fit with many homes and we recommend choosing a colour from our colour chart so that the flue system blends in with your existing guttering or pipework.
Construction of twin wall insulated flue
The outer skin is made from 304-grade stainless steel and is 0.4mm thick. The inner skin is made from 316-grade stainless steel and is 0.4mm thick. Insulation is compressed Rockwool giving a density of 128kgper cubic metre. All parts are fully welded. The distance to combustibles is 50mm in all directions
